Death Certificates
Death Certificates are kept in the local county health department in California. The certificates stay there for the year of the death and the following calendar year. The year after that, a Death Certificate goes to the county recorder office. It costs $21.00 for a Death Certificate.

I called a couple places before settling on this Funeral home.... Staff had the most knowledge to help me through the process of cremating my dad , He was a military vet so most places I called didn’t know how to help me, find fill out the Necessary paperwork. They were prompt with services and available when I needed them,the usually picked up right away. Highly recommend using their service.read more

I recommend this place to anyone rich or poor. Mr. Smith and... staff made sure everything was in place for my mother's viewing service. Everything went well,friends and relatives went to pay their respects. Mr. Smith was very understanding, friendly and professional. Nobody complained about it being a terrible place. Steve helped me and my family through this whole process. I... don't understand why this place has one star reviews, hopefully Fresno Funeral Chapel has or will grow from the One star reviews, but steve was very kind, personable, yet professional.
